Another one off race for Mark in the 1973 Watkins Glen 6 hour that he co-drove with George Follmer. Jackie Stewart was entered the race with a new Capri and Porsche wanted to defend there honor with Mark and George. Jackie didn't even get to start the race and Mark and George came in 6th behind much faster cars. It was sold after the race for $20,000.00. Boy how times have changed. In fact, to this day, Lance still uses the same techniques that Mark taught him to read tires on his race cars.
